The Boyz started as a conversation between friends. Today it's a podcast, a media studio and a merch label — and we're only getting louder.
On air since 2025
The story
From a spare room to the whole city.
We didn't wait for a studio, a budget or permission. Two mics, one table and a lot of opinions about music, money, relationships and the trending news occuring in kenya.
People kept telling us the same thing: this feels like sitting with your boys. So we leaned in. We invited creators, founders and troublemakers to the table, we filmed it, and we clipped it for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. The room got bigger. Then it got loud.
Now brands want in, creators want a seat, and our merch walks the streets of the city we love. This is bigger than a podcast — it's a platform for the culture, built in Kenya, for the world.
Mission
Give the culture a mic — and a business behind it.
We exist to tell honest, entertaining African stories and to build real income around them: for us, for our guests, and for the brands who ride with us. Every episode is content and commerce at once.
Vision
Become a household media brand worth millions.
We're building The Boyz into a multi-million-shilling media house — podcast network, merch label, studio and events arm — recognised across Africa and beyond. Big ambition, Kenyan roots.
What we stand on
Five things we won't compromise.
The come-up
How we got here.
The boyz
The voices at the table.
A small crew with a big mouth. Hosts, producers and the people who make the whole thing run.
